I saw this years ago and, when I did, laughed and laughed with my friends. But we were very drunk at the time. I just watched it again and didn't laugh; it's difficult to laugh at such things anymore because I know that behind them, somewhere, is someone who is getting off to it and feels some kind of shame for it.
But when it comes to this video, and it's production values, it's hard keeping a straight face. And if anyone got off to it, I commend you for your dedication and lust. It's the beast element that the film is attempting to capture: the sexual excitement of fucking an animal. Actually more than an animal, a ferocious, extinct beast that is at the top of the food chain. There's danger and the risk of becoming a beast through the coupling. It's a dangerous idea...if not a poorly executed one. This is still my favorite porno of all time, though. And dinosaur erotica, it's dirty little sister, I will also greatly admire.

The titles do say it all: A Billionaire Dinosaur Forced Me Gay Gay Blob Monster Forced Gay By A Merman and His Friends...and on and on and on. Whereas the typical erotica reader might find these novels (around 17 pages, actually, so "novel" is a loose term) absurd, mystifying, unintelligent, and, hardly, sexy.
Perhaps they aren't sexy, but they are definitely brilliant. Strangely, I don't have to read them to know they're brilliant. The level of the writing skill needn't be great, and if it is terrible, all the better: it'll just make them funnier. Because funny is the point. They're funny and creative and ironic up the ass, pun happily intended. They're grotesque conglomerations of myth and beasts as a send up of kink, fetishes and pop culture. What is sexy gets glopped together into a festive, colorful, slick stew of lube and various bodily goos. The titles themselves betray the author's ironic intentions, as Billionaire dinosaurs "forced me" gay. In a world where dinosaur erotica exists and people, seriously, can successfully masturbate to cartoon ponies, there's no reason to believe that a reader can whack off to irony. I strongly doubt this is a joke. The short story (this is not a novel) is written seriously and with some serious choices which are based on scientific theory: the T-Rex has feathers, for example, alluding to theories that the dinosaurs evolved into birds. However, the fact that humans and dinosaurs coexisted is, of course, a fantasy created for the sake of the erotica genre.
Beast erotica is a legitimate fetish, and roleplayers pop up on reddit's DPP at least once a day looking to be fucked by a fantastical beast. Therein lies the catch: according to pornography laws in the US and the UK, bestiality is not permitted. But monster porn/erotica is. The monsters have to be mythical or ancient creatures: unicorns, dinosaurs, dragons, hydras, etc. They cannot be animals that live in current times. I fail to understand this distinction, and, when I'm in a good mood, I find it utterly hilarious. What is the core of the objection to bestiality? The cross species sexual contact? Why would that be improper? Because of the possibility of breeding, of creating human/animal hybrids (even though this isn't possible)? Is it based on Christian theology and the idea that sex should only be between a man and wife (yes, homosexuality and other sexual orientations not allowed)? Personally I worry about animal cruelty, but that's not an argument I hear very much against bestiality. In fact, I hear the opposite. When I was teaching Theatre History at a university in Texas, a student came up to me after class and said he had a problem: a guy he had a crush on was in a sexual relationship with a golden retriever. "I really like this guy though." I swallowed and asked, "Is the dog being hurt?" "No! He loves it. He's always on this guy humping his leg." "Perhaps," I said and took a deep breath, "you should look at this in terms of a human relationship. If this guy was fucking his roommate, would you be okay about it? Would you want to be with him?" "No." "There you go." And there I went: judging and arguing that bestiality is a sexual orientation, and once which should be seen as identical to a sexual relationship between two humans. |

(I was a late bloomer in high school.) Nothing shocks me. All of it interests me. I can never get enough of it. All of the pics in my blog are stolen/borrowed from other websites. I consider myself not really a thief, but a pirate. Arrrrrrr!!!
